I’m Roger Keeling, proprietor of Santa Cruz Natural Mattress. While we’re new here in the Greater Bay Area, our roots extend into a 50-year tradition of making exceptionally comfortable, healthy beds: mattresses made from 100% natural latex, wrapped in 100% organic cotton covers. Chemical and odor-free, supportive, cool ... altogether incredibly comfortable to sleep on.

Our story began with Gary Kramer of Mulligan Mattress of Portland, Oregon, a trailblazer in crafting completely chemical-free and exquisitely comfortable organic mattresses at reasonable prices. Mulligan is a sister company, and we’re bringing that same philosophy of healthy bedding, custom craftsmanship, and affordable excellence, to Santa Cruz.

SCNM mattresses feature ONLY 100% natural botanic latex inside. Nothing else. We then encase them in zippered covers made of knitted, 100% organic cotton. These covers – thanks to the knit fabric – stretch in all directions, enhancing the superb support provided by latex foam.

And because both the fabric and the latex are highly breathable, they naturally “sleep cool” for an even better night’s sleep.

And because there are no petrochemicals used to make these materials, there are no harmful toxic chemicals to worry about, no weird odors, no chemical health concerns.

We offer free removal and recycling of your your old mattress.
